Frequently Asked Questions
Will Folder Security work on my PC?
If you use Windows Vista, XP, NT, 2000, ME, 98, or 95 OSR2, Folder Security will work on your computer.
Is there a limit to the number of folders that can be protected in the full version?
No. You can password protect as many folders as you wish
Why can't I protect a folder larger than 4 GB?
You cannot protect folders larger than 4 GB located on a volume that uses the FAT file system. Reasons? Folder Security saves the folder contents to a locked file. The largest file that can exist on Fat32 (Windows 9x/Me) is 4 GB. To create a file larger than 4 GB, you must use Windows NT/2000/XP with the NTFS file system.
I forgot my password. Can you send it to me?
No. Folder Security does not send your password to us. If you are not certain you will remember the password, use the Hint option when protecting the folder with a password.
I'm using the trial version. Will you answer my questions?
